Ministries

Psalm One Ministries focuses on growing deep roots in Christ through Biblical teaching and times of renewal. Through Bible studies, teaching, training and other opportunities for Christian growth and encouragement, we strive to develop an ever growing relationship with Jesus Christ.  We are based near Cincinnati, Ohio, but our ministries reach around the world.

Our core is solid Bible teaching and Christ-centered Spiritual Formation--helping others come to know Christ in increasing intimacy and seeing His life formed in us.  We minister both on-site (Oregonia, Ohio) and off-site, around the U.S. and world. We bring people in for times of teaching and renewal and our director, Linda Kline, goes out to speak in various settings through retreats, seminars, outreaches and training.

"But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith".

We have two ongoing Bible studies, one meeting in Oregonia, one in Cincinnati.  Both are open to men and women of all ages.  We are committed to learning the truth and power of the Word in such of way that we are transformed, not merely informed.

In addition, our director Linda Kline speaks in a variety of settings—evangelistic, devotional, teaching, training, facilitating—on many topics.  She loves to open the Word of God in such a way that people see the Lord as He truly is, that they draw near to Christ and learn to walk in obedience, freedom and grace.

“For I satisfy the weary ones and refresh everyone who languishes."

(Jeremiah 31:25)

A Day of Refreshing is a daylong retreat aimed at spiritual renewal through a facilitated time of teaching, fellowship, prayer, worship and time alone with God.  Each retreat has a different theme, but the goal is always to enjoy the Lord and walk with Him in growing intimacy and obedience.  Christ is the center and Scripture is our guide.  We teach spiritual disciplines (meditation, prayer, solitude, confession, study, journaling, etc.) and practice Biblical methods of deepening our relationship with God. We meet in Oregonia in a beautiful home on one hundred acres of gardens and woods.  Days of Refreshing are open to anyone—men and women—anyone hungry to draw closer to God’s heart.

"But we request of you, brethren, that you appreciate those who diligently labor among you, and have charge over you in the Lord and give you instruction, and that you esteem them very highly in love because of their work."

(1 Thessalonians 5:12-13)

Ministry wives are wonderful women.  But sometimes there aren't too many places they can go to be supported, encouraged and pampered.  At our Pastors' Wives Gatherings, these women can come and just be themselves in a beautiful, confidential setting--apart from all the expectations and pressures they may experience in their busy lives.  In Psalm One, they can freely reconnect with God, restore their souls and find many invaluable resources.
